On March 25, the Hold Steady will release a new album, Teeth Dreams, as Billboard reports. It will be released through a newly established imprint of the Razor & Tie label called Washington Square. (Previous Hold Steady albums were out through Frenchkiss and Vagrant). This follows 2010’s Heaven Is Whenever as well as frontman Craig Finn’s 2012 solo album Clear Heart Full Eyes (and his beer). The album was produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Rush, Evanescence).
Along with the record, the Hold Steady will release a 12″ EP of covers to raise money for the K + L Guardian Foundation, a fund to support the children of a Hold Steady superfan who died in 2012. It’s available with membership to the band’s fan club, the Unified Scene, via Pledgemusic.
