Elvis Costello, nuovo album a fine ottobre

Dovrebbe essere più o meno il 30° album in studio (compresi quelli con gli Attractions e i vari LP a quattro mani insieme ad altri artisti) per Elvis Costello quello che sarà pubblicato il prossimo 25 ottobre per la Hear Music che avrà come titolo ‘National Ransom’.

Il disco è stato registrato tra Nashville e Los Angeles ed è prodotto da T-Bone Burnett. Vi suonano tutti i membri degli Imposters e dei Sugarcanes, le ultime due backing band di Costello, insieme a suoi amici come Vince Gill, Marc Ribot, Buddy Miller e Leon Russell. La copertina che vedete a lato è invece opera di Tony Millionaire.

‘National Ransom’ è composto da 15 tracce così elencate: ‘National Ransom’, ‘Jimmie Standing In The Rain’, ‘Stations Of The Cross’, ‘A Slow Drag With Josephine’, ‘Five Small Words’, ‘Church Underground’, ‘You Hung The Moon’, ‘Bullets For The New-Born King’, ‘I Lost You’, ‘Dr Watson, I Presume’, ‘One Bell Ringing’, ‘The Spell That You Cast’, ‘That’s Not The Part Of Him You’re Leaving’, ‘My Lovely Jezebel’, ‘All These Strangers’.
