sempre @ buzz: The Dead Weather’s New Album Gets a Release Date
Jack White is juggling so many projects it’s hard to keep up with the man. He lends his talents to projects with his three bands, then puts on his producer hat and later switches to playing a record mogul—while somehow finding time to record with Jay-Z. And the latest on the JW news front: The Dead Weather (the fourpiece that sees White working with The Kills’ Alison Mosshart) has just announced the details of their sophomore album, Sea Of Cowards.

The follow up to the band’s 2009 debut, Horehound, Sea Of Cowards will be released on White’s own Third Man Records in conjunction with Warner Bros. on May 11. The first single from the album, a White and Mosshart duet called “Die By The Drop” will be released digitally March 30. Pre-sales for 7″ singles begin the same day.

Tracklist:

Blue Blood Blues
Hustle And Cuss
The Difference Between Us
I’m Mad
Die By The Drop
I Can’t Hear You
Gasoline
No Horse
Looking At The Invisible Man
Jawbreaker
Old Mary

The Dead Weather has a busy month leading up to the release of the new album; they’ll tour the country, performing at both Coachella and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. (Paste Mag)
