The full list of nominees for the 2015 Grammy Awards has been revealed.
The big winners include UK crooner Sam Smith and Beyoncé, who both picked up six nominations. With these latest accolades, Beyoncé has become the most nominated female artist in Grammy history.
Beyoncé and Smith both received Album of the Year nods (for Beyoncé and In the Lonely Hour, respectively). They’re up against Beck’s Morning Phase, Pharrell Williams’ G I R L, and Ed Sheeran’s X.
Record of the Year, meanwhile, pins Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” against Sia’s “Chandelier”, Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX’s “Fancy”, and Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off”. Smith, Sia, and Swift also received nods in the Song of the Year category.
The category for Best Rock Song includes a few big hitters, specifically Jack White’s “Lazaretto”, Ryan Adams’ “Gimme Something Good”, Beck’s “Blue Moon”, and The Black Keys’ “Fever”. White, Adams Beck, are The Black Keys are also nominated for Best Rock Performance, as are Arctic Monkeys for “Do I Wanna Know?”.
As for Best Rock Album, nominees include Ryan Adams’ self-titled fourteenth album, Beck’s Morning Phase, The Black Keys’ Turn Blue, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Hypnotic Eye, and U2’s Songs of Innocence.
The Best Alternative Album category is equally stacked featuring Arcade Fire’s Reflektor, St. Vincent’s self-titled third album, Jack White’s Lazaretto, Alt J’s This is All Yours, and Cage the Elephant’s Melophobia. The nominees were announced by Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig.
The nominees for Best New Artist include HAIM, Sam Smith, Iggy Azalea, Bastille, and Brandy Clark.
Up for Best Rap Album are Eminem for The Marshall Mathers LP 2, ScHoolboy Q for Oxymoron, Childish Gambino for Because the Internet, Common for Nobody’s Smiling, and Iggy Azalea for The New Classic.
Kanye West took home a nod in the Best Rap Song category for “Bound 2?. Other notable nominees in the category include Nicki Minaj for “Anaconda”, Kendrick Lamar for “i”, and Drake for “0 to 100 / The Catch Up”.
In the Best Rap Performance category, nominees include Drake’s “0 to 100 / The Catch Up”, Kendrick Lamar’s “i”, Eminem’s “Rap God”, and Donald Glover’s “3005”.
Coldplay’s Ghost Stories is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album alongside Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz, Ariana Grande’s My Everything, Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour, and Katy Perry’s Prism.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s self-titled fifth album will battle it out against Pharrell’s G I R L for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Queen Bey is also nominated for Best R&B Performance and R&B Song for “Drunk in Love” featuring Jay Z.
The category for Best Electronic Album is especially exciting, as it features Aphex Twin’s Syro, Röyksopp & Robyn’s Do It Again, and Little Dragon’s Nabuma Rubberband.
Rounding out the list of notable nominees are Karen O’s whose “The Moon Song” earned a nod for Best Song Written For Visual Media; Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ soundtrack for Gone Girl, which earned a Best Score Soundtrack nod; FKA Twigs, who was nominated for Best Recording Package for LP1; and Tegan & Sara and The Lonely Island, whose song “Everything Is Awesome!!!” was nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media.

The 2015 Grammy Awards take place on Sunday, February 8th, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS.
