Elton John’s new LP, The Diving Board, isn’t in stores until September 24th, but you can hear a stream of it right now on Amazon. It is his first solo disc since 2006’s The Captain and the Kid, which is far and away the longest he’s ever gone between albums. (We aren’t counting 2010’s The Union, since that was a collaborative work with Leon Russell.)
Now we have a question for you: What is your single favorite Elton John album? Feel free to vote for a chart-topper like Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, a fan-favorite like The Tumbleweed Connection or a more recent effort like Songs From the West Coast. Hell, you might even be the one person who loves 1986’s Leather Jackets. Vote for whatever album you want, but please only vote once and only for a single album.
