MY BLOODY VALENTINE, PIU’ SORPRENDENTI DI COSI’ ?

“Ci stiamo preparando per andare live con il nuovo album/sito web stasera (ieri sera). Faremo un annuncio appena sarà su”: con questo post sulla propria pagina Facebook i My Bloody Valentine hanno annunciato alle 21 di ieri sera l’esistenza del loro nuovo disco atteso 22 anni, ovvero dal 1991 (quando uscì ‘Loveless’, loro secondo e fino ad oggi ultimo LP).

Sempre sulla pagina Facebook della band irlandese è comparsa l’immagine che vedete in basso, che deduciamo essere la copertina del nuovo album. Il titolo sarebbe dunque ‘mbv’

AGGIORNAMENTI:

– su ‘Mybloodyvalentine.org’ dovrebbe essere ora possibile sentire o scaricare il disco, almeno secondo un nuovo post del gruppo su Facebook. Per il momento, però, la pagina risulta ancora irraggiungibile. Dunque, dopo i succitati 22 anni, bisognerà attendere ancora un po’. Illuminante il commento di un fan: “Kevin is just buying another decade with the site crash”.

– ‘Nme.com’ afferma che l’album sarà disponibile esclusivamente dal sito ufficiale del gruppo in formato digitale, in CD e in vinile 180g. I formati fisici, che saranno spediti tra tre settimane, daranno comunque diritto allo scaricamento.

– La scaletta del disco è la seguente: 1. She Found Now, 2. Only Tomorrow, 3. Who Sees You, 4. Is This And Yes, 5. If I Am, 6. New You, 7. In Another Way, 8. Nothing Is, 9. Wonder 2.

– Uno dei nostri è riuscito ad intrufolarsi nel sito che per molti è ancora offline, non sembra esserci streaming ma solo vendita stile ‘In Rainbows’. Ecco cosa ha copia-incollato:

The album is available in three formats:
180 gram vinyl + CD + digital download of your choice
CD + digital download of your choice
digital download of your choice

The digital download will be available in the following file types:
16bit 44.1 K WAV file (cd quality)
320kbps MP3
24bit 96 K WAV file

The price of the digital download only is the same regardless of the file quality and size.

The vinyl has been recorded, mixed and mastered in analogue. It is manufactured on 180 gram vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve with the CD in a card wallet. The vinyl will be limited due to manufacturing restrictions.

The CD comes in a gatefold card sleeve.

The vinyl and CD artwork is currently being finished and each format will have slightly different but similar artwork to the download artwork that will be attached to your download (pictured in main pack-shot on right of screen).
