The Killers are to play at Wembley Stadium on Saturday June 22, 2013.
Following a sold-out UK arena tour, which concludes with two nights at London’s O2 Arena this weekend (16/17 November), the newly announced Wembley Stadium date is set to be the band’s biggest ever standalone show.
Speaking about the show, drummer Ronnie Vannucci told NME:It sort of feels like the full-circle moment in a way. We started out here in the UK so to come back and play Wembley, I don’t know what I can say about it. Every couple of months there’s something along those lines that sort of blows me out of the water. Obviously, this is the cream of the crop of dreams coming true.Tickets for The Killers at Wembley Stadium, priced between £35 and £65, go onsale at 9am on Friday, November 16, with limited pre-sale tickets available to The Killers’ fanclub, The Victims, ahead of this.
