In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Sigur Rós say they’ll release a new album in the spring, their first studio release since the 2008 album Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust. The album was recorded following the tour for frontman Jónsi’s solo album Go. The band tells The Wall Street Journal that the new album sounds “introverted,” “floaty and minimal,” “ambient,” and “a slow takeoff toward something.”
