infatti per dylan si parla di un archive 62/64, sulla versione live mi fido di voi, ma prima o poi provero’ di persona…da sottolineare anche come i suoi ultimi tre album da studio siano ottimi. i kings sono una grande bolla di sapone per quanto mi riguarda, anche piuttosto furbetta se vogliamo stare a vedere. ora un sito che ha dato piu’ o meno lo stesso voto ai massive attack merita per conto mio rispetto massimo, piu’ che altro perche’ in grado di argomentare e dare spiegazioni su certe opinioni: cosa che purtroppo non e’ certo comune. e in proposito a band come i k.o.l. che solo nei sogni e negli articoli di qualche giornalista che non ha piu’ niente da dire possono eguagliare gli U2 vorrei segnalare un’altra band che puo’ fare il paio con i followill ovvero i 30 second to mars…ho visto oggi il loro ultimo video (quello con i ciclisti) e l’ho trovato francamente imbarazzante…ma, magari sono solo le mie orecchie…

Danger Mouse has recruited Jack White and Norah Jones to sing on his forthcoming collaboration album with Italian composer Daniele Luppi.

The DJ/producer, real name Brian Burton, and Luppi have named the album ‘Rome’ after the pair teamed up at various points over the past five years in the Italian capital to record it.

The duo told The Guardian that they recorded in the Forum studios, a converted church, and that it was inspired by 1960s Italian film soundtracks.

The release date and tracklisting is yet to be revealed, but Burton explained why he had enlisted Jones and White to sing lead vocals.

“I definitely wanted a man and a woman,” he said. “The female vocal needed to be soft, not polarising. But the male needed to have a bit more angst to it.”

He added: “I played some of the music for Jack White when I was on tour shortly after doing the first session, just to show him what I was doing… he liked it, but at the time I wasn’t even thinking of using him – you know, it’s Jack White.

“But in the end, I thought, ‘He’s really into it – why not?’ He tried it in different voices – a high voice, a low voice, and I thought, ‘Why don’t we leave them all in?’ There’s a bunch of his vocals on [album track] ‘Rose With The Broken Neck’, and it doesn’t always sound like him.”

Danger Mouse has also been working on the new U2 album, tentatively titled ‘Songs Of Ascent’.
