se parliamo di rock..

Nick Cave has said he doesn’t mind if people find Grinderman offensive, because he thinks that’s the key to being rock’n’roll.

The frontman was speaking with his bandmates Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos about writing the band’s second album, ‘Grinderman 2’, in a video interview with NME that you can watch on the right of your screen now.

“Sometimes the lyrics go to areas that you just don’t want to sing about,” explained Cave. “It’s offensive and it offends people and it polarises our audience.

“And some people like it and some people hate it. Some people think it was a good idea to do Grinderman, some people think it was a really bad idea. This is all good stuff and this is what rock’n’roll should be about anyway.”
