(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, 25 MAG – Sir Paul McCartney terra’ il 2 giugno un concerto alla Casa Bianca per Barack e Michelle Obama.
Lo ha reso noto la Casa Bianca. L’ex Beatles e’ stato invitato in quanto vincitore della terza edizione del premio Gershwin for Popular Song, il riconoscimento che da tre anni a questa parte la Biblioteca del Congresso assegna agli artisti che si sono particolarmente distinti nel campo della musica leggera. Lo scorso anno il premio era andato a Stevie Wonder, due anni fa a Paul Simon.
