No, that’s not a typo. Nor has Jack White formed yet another band. Instead, he’s planning on reducing The Raconteurs down to a three-piece for a good cause—the White Stripes frontman will perform with Brendan Benson and their former drummer, Patrick Keller, in Nashville for Record Store Day.
The show will take place at White’s own Third Man record store, and will also include appearances from “some friends,†which should make this worth checking out if you happen to be in the area on April 17. Naturally, it’s wise to get there early as this thing is going to be packed.
In addition to the live performance, White is promising to have a raffle, which offers a grand prize of the go-karts from the “Steady as She Goes†video (see above). There will also be limited edition Broken Boy Soldiers colored vinyl available, a barbecue, DJs, and much more. (Prefix)
