intanto lcd si prepara al tour e al nuovo album…
LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy has offered fans a preview of his forthcoming album by posting a home movie from the studio online.
The video, which you can watch below, appeared on the band’s official website Lcdsoundsystem.com.
The clip features snippets of new music, plus Murphy giving a tour of the Los Angeles manison he used as a studio.
“I always have to live where I’m recording to make an LCD records otherwise I get distracted, I don’t get to work ‘til three,” he explained of the pad which included a private swimming pool. “This way I wake up and I’m already here. Why would anybody go to a studio? Look how fucking awesome this place is.”
The new LCD Soundsystem album will be Murphy’s third full-length studio effort under that name and is expected to be released this spring, although Murphy has suggested that it could be the last release as LCD Soundsystem.
Meanwhile, LCD Soundsystem will tour the UK and Ireland in April and May.
