Il solito grandioso approccio con i suoi strumenti e la dettatura dei tempi.
Solo 5 brani ma immensi,come ogni prova di Pat in sala e sul palco.
Fenomenale,devastante in certi passaggi in crescendo.
Un disco che non esiterei un attimo a comprarlo.

Hindi Zahra is sounding like the musical child of Django Rheinhardt and Billie Holiday, the Paris-based Hindi is a captivating musician. Her song “Beautiful Tango” is a revelation—simple yet sophisticated, sparse yet emotive. It’s fresh even while it reverberates with history. This style continues in “Oursoul” and “Try.” A touch of hip-hop and soul influence, retaining the simple, downbeat understatement of her other songs while adding an almost ethereal quality. Somewhere between her Moroccan roots and her life in Paris, singer-songwriter Hindi Zahra lost track of her many musical influences: the result is a mesmerizing elemental folk, a desert blues with african/american music.

Onore a Neil Young, nel frattempo!

Neil Young has been honoured by a host of stars after being crowned the 2010 MusiCares Person Of The Year last night (January 29).

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elton John, Sheryl Crowe and Norah Jones performed as well as former band mates Stills, David Crosby and Graham Nash at a gala at Los Angeles Convention Centre in front of the veteran singer who was awarded for his exceptional artistic accomplishment as well as philanthropic work, reports BBC 6 Music.

Young, who headlined Glastonbury in 2009, co-founded Farm Aid in 1985, and runs the annual Bridge School Concerts with his wife Pegi. The charity has raised money since 1986 for children severe speech and physical impairments.

Previous recipients of the award, which is held ahead of the Grammys, include Brian Wilson, Neil Diamond and Aretha Franklin.
