..from russia with love…visto che gli stones non vanno in tour…

Ronnie Wood is reportedly going out with a PR girl less than half his age. The 62-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist has been pictured with 26-year-old Hannah Kamelmacher on several occasions in the past few days, and the couple are said to have spent the night together on Sunday (January 10) at a London hotel. Kamelmacher’s family hail from Russia – just like his former lover Ekaterina Ivanova. Kamelmacher and Wood are said to have met for the first time last Wednesday (January 6). Since then, Wood has taken her for a Chinese meal in Esher, Surrey and to see Jimmy White play snooker in The Masters at Wembley (The Sun).

Blonde Redhead Composing Score to Dungeons & Dragons Documentary

The only sound in the dungeon’s inky-black depths is the steady rustle of your chainmail armor, and fatigue from your battle with the lich Vecna is slowly overtaking you. Suddenly, as you round a corner, you see your destination before you: the Astral Deva! Kazu Makino sits on her throne of the Golden Protector, resplendent in celestial glory. Flanking her are her two lieutenants, the twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace. “Greetings, mortal,” she bellows as she hefts her +3 Mace of Disruption. “Have you heard about the documentary for which we’re composing music?”

Okay, Kevin McAlester’s upcoming Dungeons and Dragons documentary, The Dungeon Masters, probably (definitely) doesn’t have a scene like that in it. But that part about Blonde Redhead writing the music score? Totally true! As The Playlist reports, the original score to The Dungeon Masters was indeed composed by the New York City post-punk trio. aggiungiamo alla cassettina anche i klaxons? ritorno sciamanico….

Klaxons’ Jamie Reynolds has told NME.COM how the band’s long-awaited second album has been inspired by shamanism and the year 2012.

Speaking about the follow up to 2007’s debut ‘Myths Of The Near Future’, Reynolds claimed that the band – currently in the studio with Korn producer Ross Robinson – have finally found their feet after numerous attempts to record the album.

He said that the band “went off with this writer who introduced us to shamanism” last summer, referring to author and psychedelic substance user Daniel Pinchbeck, who inspired much of the new sessions.

Another central theme of the album is the year 2012, which Reynolds says is the “coming of the fifth or sixth sun”, and which he believes will bring people together.

“We believe in the collective consciousness and the world shift, and the dissolving of boundaries and the bringing together of humanity, and everybody having the same objective and living together in harmony. That’s what we’re going for,” he explained.

The making of the album, which the band have been working on since 2007, has seen scrapped sessions with producers James Ford, Tony Visconti and Focus already.

To read the full interview with Klaxons, make sure you pick up a copy of NME’s Albums Of 2010 issue, which hits newsstands across the UK today (January 13).
