Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse’s Dark Night of the Soul Details Announced

As previously reported Danger Mouse & Sparklhorse collaborated wtih various musicians and it came together as an audio-visual project. The project is called “Dark Night of the Soul” not to be confused with another great indie collaboration “Dark Was the Night” by Red Hot. There will be an album and book released for the project and will be released on powerhouse. Artists featured on the album include the Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop, Frank Black, the Strokes’ Julian Casablancas, Jason Lytle, and James Mercer of the Shins. The book will feature over 100 photographs done by David Lynch, an art installation is going to be set-up in LA’s Michael Kohn Gallery starting on May 30 to July 11 and will feature two rooms.
