”BUT MR. UPLOADER, this isn’t an ALBUM?”. I know, I know; but it KINDA is; ‘Song Machine’ is an untraditional album by Gorillaz. Songs will be released with visuals (YouTube) and skits (Bitez – released on every streaming platform) detailing the creation of each song and the guests featured on them, one at a time – as they’re finished. Kind of a living, breathing series/visual album, somewhat working in the same way as Adult Swim’s singles program. It’s a bit complicated, so I suggest reading up on it, but it should be considered a full project, or at least expected that it’ll end up as one once x songs are out. We don’t know whether this comes instead of a standard studio record or not.
