For The Weary Traveller
Born in the desert city of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and raised in the pristine South Island of New Zealand, it’s no wonder Southern Hemisphere songstress Holly Arrowsmith crafts music with a reverence for nature. For The Weary Traveller, is a reflection on life’s journey. Written amongst, and poetically encompassed by, staggering landscapes, this timeless debut album was recorded in a grassroots studio, nestled in the mountain valley settlement of Queenstown, New Zealand. Reminiscent of Americana folk greats Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan, Arrowsmith’s captivating, earthy voice will reach into the heart of humanity and take you on a journey through the struggles and joys of the traveller’s life.

Just Lions
Great. Okay.
In 2008, Just Lions formed in Portland, Oregon with brothers Chandler and Brady Strutz and their childhood friend Andrew Shepherd. The rock/pop/jazz trio’s crisp live set is driven by catchy guitar solos, energetic drumming, and tight harmonies. The Owl Mag calls it “Hook-heavy, angular indie rock with jazz’s trademark rhythmic complexity.” On the latest EP, Great. Okay., “Just Lions pack in enough sound and melody to fill up a full-length album, finding new and creative ways to use the rock template laid out by old stalwarts like the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Radiohead.” (Ned Lannamann, The Portland Mercury).
