Depeche Mode have shared a live performance of ‘Enjoy The Silence’ from their forthcoming Anton Corbijn shot concert film.
Click above to watch the video, which comes from Depeche Mode Live In Berlin, which was shot in Berlin last November. The film has been described as a “total immersion experience” and is directed by filmmaker Anton Corbijn (Joy Division biopic Control). The DVD will feature a 21-song set spread over two discs, plus behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, extras and a two-song acoustic session.
“Depeche Mode has a strong following in the German capital and the film tries to capture the highlights of these concerts as well as that special connection through interviews with fans and bands alike,” Corbijn said of the film.
Corbijn has worked with the band several times in the past, in particular directing the ‘Personal Jesus’ video back in 1989. The film will be released on DVD via Columbia Records on November 17, following on from last year’s Delta Machine album.
