Fiorella Mannoia, Francesco De Gregori, Pino Daniele e Ron: quattro colonne della musica italiana in un inedito tour.
E’ partita da Pino Daniele l’idea che ha dato vita a questo raffinato spettacolo che ha ravvivato stadi e piazze italiane nell’estate del 2001. Un’occasione per ripercorrere trent’anni di canzone d’autore in un gioco di specchi e citazioni tutte da scoprire e da cantare.
In tour prende avvio con un polittico sonoro che alterna in rapida successione Una città per cantare, I treni a vapore, Alice e Quando. Dopo aver acceso le polveri Pino Daniele resta in scena per duettare prima con la Mannoia in Oh che sarà , poi per alternarsi come voce solista con De Gregori in Napule è ed in una notevole interpretazione acustica di Generale, prima di cantare in proprio Un cielo senza nuvole e Che soddisfazione. Il quartetto si ricompatta nella seconda parte presentando Vorrei incontrarti tra cent’anni, Piazza Grande, Il tempo non torna più, Viva l’Italia e Je so’ pazzo.
Sotto il versante strumentale il concerto è giocato soprattutto sulle chitarre, mentre l’interprete più versatile in assoluto è senza dubbio la Mannoia (splendidamente intenso il suo duetto con De Gregori ne La storia).
In tour è caratterizzato da un’impeccabile qualità di registrazione, una cavalcata di miti musicali amplificata dall’estemporaneo entusiasmo che il pubblico traccia dopo traccia non manca mai di manifestare. Con la regia di Kevin Ridley e 22 esibizioni straordinarie. Imperdibile.
