David Bowie’s new single ‘Lazarus’ will be premiered this Thursday (December 17) before its official release a day later (Friday, December 18).
‘Blackstar’, Bowie’s 25th studio album, will be released on his 69th birthday (January 8, 2016). It follows Bowie’s 2013 comeback album ‘The Next Day’.
Having already released the album’s title track, ‘Lazarus’ will be premiered on Thursday at 5.15pm (UK time) on BBC 6 Music. The track will then be released digitally on Friday.

‘Lazarus’ features in the recent Bowie stage production of the same name, which opened in New York earlier this month.
