Burial is set to release his comeback single ‘Street Halo’ on Monday (March 28).
The single will be the dubstep maestro’s first solo release since 2007. It will come backed by two other new songs, ‘NYC’ and ‘Stolen Dog’.
The London DJ/producer, real name Will Bevan, hasn’t said whether the single is coming ahead of a new album or not. However, it is thought that he has been working on a full-length follow-up to his critically-acclaimed 2007 album ‘Untrue’ over the last few months.
Burial’s collaboration songs with Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Four Tet, ‘Ego’ and ‘Mirror’, were recently released.
He has also produced a number of tracks set for Jamie Woon’s debut album ‘Mirrorwriting’, which is released on April 18. NME
