Over the summer they will play Download in the UK, Southside and Hurricane Festivals in Germany, Peace and Love Festival in Sweden, Rock The Beach in Finland, Rock A Field in Luxembourg, Roskilde in Denmark, Open’er Festival in Poland, Volt Festival in Hungary and Benicàssim in Spain.
A new press release circulated by the band’s label earlier today (March 26) confirms the list of guest stars appearing on the new album, including Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Dave Grohl, Elton John, Trent Reznor, Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters.
Previous Queens Of The Stone Age collaborators Mark Lanegan and Nick Oliveri will also appear on the album as will James Lavelle of UNKLE. The album was recorded at Pink Duck Studios in Burbank and produced by frontman Joshua Homme
