Everyone’s abuzz with their opinions on the rumored list of musicians and bands playing Coachella in 2012, the first year of which to hold the event two weekends in a row (April 13th-15th for Weekend 1 and Aprl 20th-22nd for Weekend 2). Although we’re not sure about the source of the leaked list (we did emphasize rumored, right?), it’s always possible that the leaked material is mostly correct.
According to celebrity gossip website StarzUncut, they claim that their anonymous inside source is correct with most of the acts confirmed:
“Although a few artists haven’t been 100% confirmed, many have been, including No Doubt and Radiohead.”
So what acts are listed on the poster? The list includes everyone from Modest Mouse to Bon Iver, LMFAO to the Decemberists, Foo Fighters to the Civil Wars (full list below). Some have already started looking up the touring schedules of the bands listed to determine whether there are breaks during the weekends Coachella falls on and if their gigs before and after those times are near, or in, California.
Some people are already making plans based on the rumors. What do you think? Which acts are you looking forward to?
