Michael Lee, the drummer most famous for his work withRobert PlantÂ andÂ Jimmy PageÂ in the 1990s, has died aged 39.
LeeÂ (top right above) passed away earlier this week – November 24 or 25, according to conflicting reports – and the circumstances or causes of his death are currently unknown.
The drummer first worked withÂ Robert PlantÂ on his 1993 solo albumÂ “Fate Of Nations”, before playing with the singer andÂ Jimmy PageÂ on their 1994 setÂ “No Quarter: Jimmy Page And Robert Plant Unledded”.
LeeÂ also performed on the duo’sÂ Steve Albini-produced follow-up, 1998’sÂ “Walking Into Clarksdale”.
He also played withÂ The Cult,Â Echo And The BunnymenÂ and the reformedÂ Thin LizzyÂ during his career.
